New DVDS for your collection

Who's got time to go to the movies? BLUR has you covered with the DVDs you will want for your collection. Plus, check out our lists of the best DVDs that tried to assemble a great multicultural cast or had a unique perspective on race or ethnicity, at home or abroad. From the best interracial buddy movies to the ones with top swirl, we put together our choices. What are yours?

The Restless – After his fiancé is killed a man with the power to see spirits joins the Royal Demon Hunting Squad.  One day he drifts into the land between Heaven and Hell where he meets a girl who looks just like his ex and decides to help her on her mission to deliver the Holy Stone to the Pool of Reflection.  If they fail, no one will ever be reincarnated again.  This gem from South Korea has something for everyone, romance, fantasy, amazing swordplay and martial arts, backed by the classic struggle of good versus evil.  Starring Jun-ho Heo, Woo-sung Jung and Kwang-il Kim.

Caramel – A hairstylist falls for a family man and learns that she has another admirer, a traffic cop who has bombarded her with tickets to get her attention. This film is perfect for anyone who loves romantic comedies, but has become bored by the genre.  Don’t get me wrong; Caramel is not a beacon of originality.  But the city of Beirut provides a breath of fresh air and fresh problems for these five ladies in this hair shop, such as the shame one woman is forced to deal with because she has lost her virginity before marriage.  A cute story supported by a beautiful culture set in a gorgeous city.  Starring Nadine Labaki, Yasmine Elmarsi and Joanna Moukarzel.

Fresh on Disc: “The Bucket List” and “Jumper”

Fresh on Disc: “Flawless” and “Boarding Gate”

Fresh on Disc: “The Violin,” “Darfur Now”

Fresh on Disc: “Frontier(s),” “Indiana Jones Trilogy”

Fresh on Disc: “Bella, Saawariya”

Fresh on Disc: Golden Compass, Hero Wanted
