As one of the most popular meditative exercise experiences, Pilates is a great way to strengthen the entire body and sculpt muscles you didn't even know you had. Before you watch that Pilates DVD or go to that gym class, there are a few nice accessories you might want to pick up. A Pilates mat is nice to have especially if you go to a gym for classes since you'll always know where that mat has been. In addition, some classes or DVDs might require that you use a Pilates strap during the exercises or class and they're easy to obtain.
